1986 Chevy S-10 engine noise

Tapping noise from engine when in gear or when engine is under load. Dont here noise when revving engine. Goes away when driving engine warm.

Check on the exhaust where the pipe meets the manifold for the EFE valve, could be the butterfly inside has finally come loose!
