I tried to start my s-10 Blazer today. It started and the starter continuid spinning, making a were noise. I turned off the ignition but it continuid wereing. I had to disconnect the battery terminal for it to stop. Whith the key off, I touched the battery terminal to the battery and the wereing starts again. Is the problem in the ignition switch?

Hi blazer6161, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

To do that could be the starter solenoid is shorted out or the ignition switch-disconnect the purple wire on the starter if it stops-its the ignition switch, if it continues replace the starter.
