Sometimes on my 55 chevy when I start the truck all I get is click x3 or 4 time then will start and may start up the the 3 or 4 times, then back to the clicking.
I replaced the starter, cleaned all battery conections, and still have the problem. I think it may be in the ingnition switch. Your thoughts?

Ensure battery is charged and all grounds are clean and canected and is this a new starter or used have starter tested at auto parts store or even may have to put shims in to hold starter from flywheel some to get full engagement to flywheel
