2000-1500 silverado 4.3 litre. started having starting problems about a mon. ago w/ hard starting-seemed like fuel pblm. the thing is that once I got her going she ran fine all day and cranked fine--but overnight to next morning she'd get bad. Now she won't crank but spits like she wants to run--changed fuel filter and pump seems to run--checked computer code and it read fuel pressure hi or low plus some other readings that as far as i can tell are not fire/fuel related.talked to guys at parts place, they said fuel pressure regulator or air intake compensator? ANYONE had this problems? HELP--I'm dead in the driveway :?: :x

According to your input, have a mechanic change the unit ( regulator and fuel pump )
or have them do fuel pressure test first or you may ask them scan your pcm again and come back here with the codes, that could help.
