Starting problems

I have a 1978 Corvette with 7700 orginal miles that won't start. I tried to jump start it but all I got was a clicking sound. The engine would not roll over. Any ideas?

I would remove all of the plugs and try to hand crank the engine to make sure it isnt seized up. If it turns by hand, then make sure you are using a fully charged battery. Some times cables dont transfer enough power to jump cars with completly dead batterys.
