Fuel pump wont turn on

I had recieved a 1987 chevy surban. I had to repair the fuel tank because it had a leak. I did get that fixed. But I put everying all back together and it wont start cause the fuel pump wont turn on. The fuel pump and sending unit is fairly new (6 months or so) I checked the fuel lines and the wires and I still cant get it working. A little help would be appreciated! Josh

Did you have the battery disconnected when you where remove the tank. If not you may have blow the fuel pump fuse. Check it and see if it needs to be replaced. Good luck Backyardmechanic :o

I did figure it out. It was the darn fuse. I didn't realize that there were two of them though. Thanks much
