I have a 97 Camaro V6. The Service Eng light blinks and Eng stumbles or misfires. I changed the plugs & wires and no change. Could it be the coil packs? Also the front end sound loose when I turn or hit small bumps. Any ideas?

Sounds Like Coil Packs But Before U Replace Those Have Your Computer Scanned For Codes. That Should Tell You. If No Codes Could Be A Faulty Prom If I Remember Right Faulty Proms Will Make Your Check Engine Light Flicker And Flash. Not Sure Thought. Just A Thought

Thanks for the info. I bought the car for $5.00 and it's 1 of 4 cars it have. If I have to drop a few bucks into it, I'm fine. The body and interior is in good shape, just needs some engine & front end work. I have 2 teen boys that are foaming at the mouth to drive it and it will give some good Dad & Son time working on it together. So if I drop $1,000 to $1,500 into it, it'll work out to about what I would spend on a car for one of them anyway, plus you can't put a price on time with the kids. Thanks again, and I'm sure I'll be back with more questions.
