1999 Other Chevrolet Models Air Cond. fan shut off
Air Conditioning problem
1999 Other Chevrolet Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 99000 miles
Driving and the Air Cond. fan quit then came back on for about 5 sec. Then went off again. will not come back on...Checked fuse under dash and also under hood..the Air Cond clutch will try to engage, but only for a few sec.Just filled it with freon about 1 wk ago. Could it be a relay ? I checked all the fuses ,even ones that were marked for other items.. all good...Help its hot in Texas...thanks

depending on how big a leak the a/c system has is why it won't blow cool. it should be fixed as you may have wasted your money by putting in the freion. run a hot wire to the blower and see if it runs if it does, then it can be the relay/switch/ or resistor causing the problem. it should be checked out by a pro....
