1995 Other Chevrolet Models fuel filter

Need to bleed the air out of the fuel system.
1- open bleeder valve on top of filter housing, connect a hose to control fuel flow once it has bled out the air
2- Disconnect the fuel injection pump shutdown solenoid (pink wire) located on the injection pump (see pic)

crank the engine in 10-15 second intervals (wait 1 minute in between cranking) to keep from overheating the starter until fuel comes out of the hose.
3- close valve and reconnect solenoid wire, start and let idle for approx 5 minutes
