Hi, I just redid the brakes on my chevy 1/2 ton W/T.
this is not my first time, the ABS light was on prior to the brake job, I figured everything was out of adjustment, so I did a total brake overhaul, new everything all the way around including lines, drums rotors, shoes, hardware etc, I bled the system, new fluid. I re adjusted the emergency brake cable as per my Hanes manual, and it is operating excellent, my brakes are working good as well, I tested them on a hoist, then on a short road test, they worked well every bit as good as they did when new off the showroom, but my ABS light wont go off. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

You need a scan tool to see what is wrong with the system. It can be a wheel sensor, broken wire harness, really anything except the brakes themselves. With the light on it means your ABS DOES NOT WORK. Go get it scanned and find out what the problem is. Alot of auto part stores can do this for you.
