I have an old 350 or 327 in my c/20 longbed.I was recently driving and heard a clanking around in my motor immediatly afterstopping my motor I found that the peice of all thred that holds the air filter to the card had rattled loose and fell down into my motor! After pulling the carb and finding some chunkes of the all thread in the drivers side of the intake I decided to pull the head on that side and found more small shrapnel but no damage to the valves cylinders or cylinder walls. Shoul I clean the rest up and assume the rest went out of the exhaust?

Youy probably wont want to here this but I would pull off both heads and tear them down and inspect the valves, valve seats, and valve guides for damage. Also take a look a the piston heads for damage and the combustion chambers for cracks and or damge.
