Engine Performance problem
1959 Other Chevrolet Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Sorry ,chose a diferent model.
This is a 1950 Studebaker Champion ,manual transmission.
How can I install a electric pump (6 volts - 6.5 lbs pressure) to eliminate the mechanical pump?
is it possible to get good performance with the electric pump only?
Do you have any diagram to do it properly?

i know ac delco makes a electric pump for it but its 12v. i dont know if 6 volts will keep up the pressure and volume you need. theres only one way to tell, purchase the electric pump, its short money and connect it to the 6 volt battery and check the pressure output from it. its quie possible it will be enough to run the car
