The car will turn over when it is cold. Although after it warming up or driving around, the starter will not react when the key is turned. I put a multimeter on the battery and it says it has enough voltage, but nothing engages when I turn the key after the car has been driven around. It wont start back up until the car is cold.

There is an old GM hot restart issue. I believe the solenoid gets too hot. They used to take a ford starter relay and place it up high on the fender lining, trying to get it away from the heat. I can't be sure that is your problem?
