WELL, COUPLE WEEKS AGO MY CAR HAD A MILKY SUBSTANCE WAS LEAKING FROM A 2" BYPASS HOSE. GOT THAT FIGURED OUT AND FIXED. IT COST ME ABOUT 800. WHICH IS WHY I CANT DONATE WHICH I WOULD CAUSE "YALL" DO HELP. WELL, WHEN I GOT THE CAR BACK I NOTICED THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL ON. I GOT IT CHECKED OUT AND DETERMINED THAT THE CATALTIC CONVERTER WAS GOING OUT DUE TO BLOW OUT HEAD GASKET. WONDERING IF THAT IS TRUE? PLUS SHOULD I GET THE PART FROM FACTORY? I ASKED AROUND TO SEE HOW MUCH MORE I NEED TO SPEND AND IT WOULD BE AROUND 200 WITH PARTS AND LABOR. IS THAT A GOOD DEAL? IM JUST HANGING IN THERE AND TRYING NOT TO LOSE IT. THANKS AGAIN FOR UR TIME.

Yes that is very possible. Catalytic converters usually run up around the $800 mark just for the part alone. You are saying having it replaced for only $200?
