Electrical problem
2001 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Automatic 140000 miles

after car sits for about 3 days we have to recharge battery we believe that there is a short somewhere but cant seem to find it? Also I believe that the positive post has alot of spark when u go to charge it it really sparks any answer for us?

If it was a short then fuse would blow for that specific circuit. Most likely there is a closed circuit that is draining battery. Check all components such as headlights, radio and hidden lights such as vanity mirror lights, glove box light etc.
