Hi,

I am trying to replace the driver side door lock actuautor on my 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo. I have taken the door panel off and have attempted to take the old actuator out. However, when I unscrew the screws that hold the lock in, I am unable to get the lock out. Can you help me?

Thanks,
Dan

Yes, I have removed the rod. However, I still can not get the latch out from behind the window frame. Is there another bolt that could be holding the latch on? I only found the 3 bolts on the outside of the door.

Now I am stuck. I can not get the actuator rods off of the latch so I can remove the latch. The latch wobbles around when I unscrewed the bolts from the door. Is there another way that I can get the latch out from behind the door frame?

Hi. Never mind. I am getting a local mechanic to fix all of my car's problems.
