Shakes or Wobbles problem
1985 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car at idle will bounce around with Rpm's. It will start dropping to laround 460rpm then bounce and go up to 1100. It's does this at a stop sign or even at start. Sometimes when driving it will want to die out and I slam on the gas. It does it more under 30mph and sometimes I just seem to lose a little power above 50.

I have not gotten any error codes but then I left the car in idle for a good 20 min and I got a 32 error code related to egr and it just sits at 1240 rpms. I had replaced the egr before but I leave that unplugged for more power. Ive always left it unplugged and never had any trouble or error codes. The car has about 143k on it. I've replace the spark plugs, distributer, cap, and roter. About 10k miles ago. Also spark plugs and wires.

I checked the fuel pressure and that was fine, I changed my fuel filter, fuel injectors, and fuel pressure regulator. Tps seems to be alright. Idk.

Any ideas?

Are you sure this is an 85? They still had a carb and not fuel injection then.

That must have been the transition year for injection. If the only code is the EGR, have you tried checking and reconnecting it?
