I posted a question earlier about the car not starting. The car may or may not start when first trying. It may take 3 or 4 times before the car will start. I changed the fuel filter (since it has never been changed since new) This was no help.
I then took the spark plug out and tried to start again. This time I had no spark when trying to start. I then took the car to a friend who has a scanner (after it started) and it kicked out a - U1040 - code. From what I understand this could be anything from a loose wire to a bad computer,, so,, where do I go from here? Do you have any suggestions where to start?
Thanks
John
