When I drive my car on the free way after all the gears have one in and im at a stable speed, if I step on the accelerator a little to gain some speed my car starts to hesitate,(or slurges dont know the proper term) I have done a tune up on it (plugs, wire, and filters) but nothing seems to help it or make it go away, now this only occurs between 2500 and 3000 rpms if I go over or keep it under it works and responds good,

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Hesitating or stumbling could be caused by the following:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
