Hello guys, the speedometer on my 98 malibu hasn't been working ever since I disconnected the battery. It seems that the needle completed a 360 degree clockwise turn and got tuck underneath the knob just below the EMPTY position. Do you have any idea what I might be able to try?

There is only 2 fixes and one is cheap and may not work but is worth trying considering the cost of the 2nd. Remove the instrument cluster and turn it upside down while holding it. The speedometer needle may move to the normal postion, then reinstall it and your good to go. If that doesnt work, then the cluster needs to make a trip to the cluster repair shop and your looking at a couple hundred bucks.
