1998 Chevy Malibu gauge's

My fuel and temp guage quit at same time checked temp sensor and fuel guage. Also checked fuses.

Sounds like there is a problem with the IP cluster. Stop at your local dealer and see if they can perform a sweep test on your gauges. Then you will be able to tell if it is in the IP cluster or a wiring issue
