I have a Lumina 1999; 260000km. When I start my car, engine works fine for a few minutes, but it starts getting hot soon. Once the car is very hot, coolant starts leaking with pressure from the frontal part of the engine. During this time, the fan doesn't work & further the thermo-meter doesn't show any car heat-up in its display. Please help..

A bit confused...Is it ok to spray water on the engine? What if water falls on some electrical part? ..
