Try checking the Throttle body often dirt will build up and cause it to stick.

New addition to this post. I can now start my car from a cold start and it will rev wide open. Could it be possible that the MAF Sensor could be causing this, now it does not want to stay running, when I put it in gear it dies, I have replaced the IAC Sensor twice

I have a 95 and it basically did the same thing. I replaced the idle control sensor and the throttle position sensor as well as using two cans of throttle body cleaner. Not sure which one fixed it but it seemed to work. every once in awhile it will idle high or die but when i shut it off it stops doing it.
