240,000kms
Automatic Transmission
2 wheel drive
No strange sounds
No fluid leaks
Last repair- rear struts replaced and oil change 1 month ago.
The battery died and was boosted only to die once again when shut off. New battery installed, and it still didn't turn over right away. Boosted the car from the starter- it ran for a few minutes and just died. Boosted again and the car ran ok for only about 20 mins (went for a short ride) but when it was turned off again it died and wouldn't turn over. Tried to boost the battery again, won't work and tried to boost from the starter and it still wouldn't work. It seems as if the battery is draining although it is new.
Could this be a starter problem or the alternator or the wires to the battery? Then what is the next step to fix the problem?
