Where is the thermostat located on the engine? I replaced the water pump yesterday, but now the thermostat is sticking.

Hi there,

The thermostat is located inside the thermostat housing: follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. The part that your upper hose is connected to is your thermostat housing. Drain some coolant, remove the upper hose, unbolt the housing, remove thermostat, put new one in there (spring side toward the engine), put new gasket, bolt housing back on there, put hose back on there, refill with Dexcool coolant, bleed your system for air, you’re good to go.
