1997 Chevy Lumina My car wont start

1997 Chevy Lumina 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown 100000 miles

We were on the freeway and all of a sudden the car just died. We had to get it towed home becuase it wouldnt start. It sounds like it wants to turn over but it doesnt. We had someone come and look at the fuel pump and they said that is not it but he thinks that it could be the ECU. What do you think?

To be honest I dont even know what that means. The mechanic that looked at the car said that once the ecu is fixed the window will work again and the car will run better. I am not sure what kind of testing he did to see if it was the ecu I just know that the car died while driving and now it sounds like it wants to start but it wont actually turn over. He checked the fule pump and said that is not the problem.

Theres more that can stop a vehicle from running then just the ECU.

If hes trusted then believe him if not I think you should get a second opinion.
