1997 Chevy Lumina ABS light on and Stereo does not work

1997 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I had a CD stereo installed in my 1997 Chevrolet Lumina and was going to sell it so I took the CD player out and replaced it with the factory stereo, however it would not work, so I put the CD player back and it still would not work. Also soon as I did the stereo swap the ABS light came on and remains on all the time.
