I drove the car home one night at 9pm. The next evening at 6pm I went to start the car. It would not start and just cranked. I tried jumping it and the extra power allowed it to crank faster. It still would not start. The car runs on Gasoline and CNG. The fuel is pressurized to the intakes so I know it is getting fuel. I tried to start it in both modes. When Cranking, the car cranks fine but seems to have a knock now. It was running fine when parked the previous evening. Any suggestions as to which way to proceed?

Hi:
Do you hear the knock when it is cranking or after it starts (if it starts)?

The knock was when it was cranking.

The problem is solved now. It was a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor.

Hi:
Glad to hear it was repaired. It must have been fireing at the wrong time to cause an engine knock.
