1996 Chevy Lumina brake lights

the middle brake light goes on, but the others do not...have tryed bulb and fuses

Welcome to the forum. If your saying the high-mount brake lite works and the lower ones don't, they are wired differently. The lower brake lites and turn signal use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time. The lower brake lites are wired through the multifunction switch. Usually the problem is the wiring in the steering column or the multifunction switch. If you want wiring colors to check brake circuit feed to and from the column, just holler.
