1995 Chevy Lumina 3.1L
109,300 miles, auto, FWD

I bought this car used about a month ago from a guy who had inherited it from his grandfather and was selling it. The car runs great but he noted that the A/C needed to be rechargd. I took the car to a mechanic for the procedure. As part of the recharge, they also examined it for leaks and found nothing. After the recharge, I used the AC very little and it blew cold for about a day or two but after that it blew warm again and I still cannot get any cold air out of it. Any idea what it could be?

Bring it back to the mechanic who recharged it, because it has a leak. Ask the mechanic to inject the system with Dye to trace the leak. He can't miss it that way. let me know

The compressor could be shot as well. I've seen this before with GM Harrisons. They'll be low on charge so the clutch won't cycle for a year or two, then after you charge it you'll get cold air for a few days, then warm again.
