I am noticing smoke coming from under the right side front hood of the car at various times. 1st I thought it was heater related, b/c I noticed it while at a redlight and the heater was on. Then I noticed it tonight after I turned off the car. I don't think it's the tire smoking; it's in good shape. The belts don't appear to be torn on that side either. What could it be?

You could have a leaking valve cover gasket and the oil is dripping onto your hot engine and burning. Or you could have a coolant leak.

If your engine's temp gauge goes high when you see this smoke, then it's the coolant.

Lift your hood while it smokes and take a look. Look for oil on your engine.
