our 93 lumina has a 3.1 engine and it just up and quit going down the road. was running fine and I've checked the spark and fuel to the injectors and thats okay, although i don't have a fuel pressure gage to check the pressure. It cranks and cranks but dont even try to start. I checked all the fuses for the computer and they are okay. When I hooked up the computer scanner it just keeps saying, vehicle not responding. Any ideas?

Hello, what type scanner are you using? Do you have to use an adapter, use voltage from the cigar liter?

Have you tried accessing codes, the old fashion way? Does the check engine come on, when you first turn the key on? With the key on, do you have ref voltage to any of the engine sensors?

One way to check for rpm signal, see if you have an injector pulse, with the engine cranking.
