I brought a 1993 chevy lumina form a private owner a year ago it had a179,000 miles on it when he let me test drive it seemed to be fine. The very next day it shut off on me at light. It did it everyday day the first couple of months but now maybe once every 2 weeks. When it shuts off the engine and oil light pops on but its always starts right back up the test showed egr valve 02 censor and something else.

Sounds like an EGR problem, the EGR should not operate at low speeds or idle. If it does it will kill the engine.
More that likely the EGR valve is not working or the pintle/port is clogged up with exhaust gas carbon and needs cleaning.
