1993 Chevy Lumina fuel pump

I replaced the fuel pump and it ran a short distance and now ihave no presure and the fuel pump only works for for a short time. Do i need to reset anything? Old pump only put put out 8lbs. New one puts out about 60lbs not sure

Are you getting spark and also injection pulses??

yes to your questions. I took it to a place called auto clinic and they said everything was ok but the fuel pump was the only thing wrong only 8lbs pressure was being pushed from the pump should be 40lbs so I had it replaced. Now it dont want to work. Is there a way to or do I have to reset the computer or something like that. Sorry for last reply first time using your site dont know how it was to be done or reply. Thank You

Find the fuel pump connector and power the gray wire from the battery positive post and tell me what happened. Also which engine?
