where is the fuel pump?

It should be inside your fuel tank.
on some GM vehicles you can actually access it thru the trunk, but I'm not sure about your particular car.
Remove the carpet floor inside the trunk and look for a door that would be located above the tank. If there's one, that's probably it.
If you don't have one, you need to drop the tank to access the pump.
