92 Lumina Euro, 3.1 liter, when we first got this car it would start and then stall out. Now it will not even start. We have replaced the fuel pump, filter, crank sensor, checked the fuel pressure (its at 45 lbs.) Tried another ECM with our chip in it, nothing is working, we are stumped. Fuel is getting to the injectors, but something is not telling the injectors when to fire. It will start with starting fluid.

Maybe a problem with ignition module? Do you have voltage at the injector, goes hot when you turn on the key. If there is voltage but no ground, usually it is because the computer doesn't see an rpm signal. I can't rule out a problem with wiring circuit somewhere. The crank sensor itself should be ok.

We had the ignition module checked and it is good, could it be the crank sensor fuse or maybe the power relay to the computer?
