Hello, My fuel pump runs when I bypass the ignition switch to deliver 12 Volts direct to it. The wire that runs to the fuel pump only gets 8.84 Volts DC to it so the pump will not run. I have traced the wire to under the dash and it is a Purple wire that also has 8.84 Votls to it. Any ideas as to what the problem may be? I can not find the actual point where the drop in voltage may be. I have bypassed most connectors but I still have 8.84 volts to it.
I have read all other comments and do not see this problem being mentioned. Thank you.

Did you check at the fuel pump relay? Could be there that's dropping it-
