My Z34 was idle for about 10 months. It's a Z34, DOHC. It will not turn over. Has new battery, has power to all accessories, but only clicks when the key is turned.

When you turn the key to crank, can you tell if there is a load on the starter circuit? Watch the lites, dash--dome--headlamps, something. Do they go out--dim or flutter? The purple wire at the starter solenoid should be hot with the key in the crank position.

Number one. How could u let that baby sit there? Anything could have gone wrong in 8 months. Rotted wires, gummy fuel clogging everything. Newer fuel gums up faster. If seen it do it in 10 weeks in bad conditions. Crapped out starter is likely. That alternator is basically on the ground too. Make sure its not growing hair.
