Engine problem
1992 Chevy Lumina V6 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 114000 miles

My car is sputtering and jerking and it dies whenever I stop. It starts up fine and if I'm driving at a steady pace it seems to run fine but if I'm stopping or slowing down it seems to have issues. Please help!

Change the throttle position sensor located to the right/back of the intake. Also, right below that is an idle air sensor, both run about $40. The other thing I did was take out a pint of tranny fluid and put in a pint of seafoam trans tune. This lubricates the torque control clutch inside the tranny. Since I did this, the car stopped stalling and it idles at 700 rpm. Hope this helps. Its a cheap fix. You will need an allen wrench to remove/install the sensors. Good luck.
