1991 Chevy Lumina goes dead takes 2minutes to restart

Sitting in traffic waiting for light to change. Engine goes 'bump' goes dead. Spins but won't restart for about 2 minutes. Then restarts normally and runs normally.

You might want to start by check the idle air control valve and also test the crankshaft position sensor and the fuel pressure.
