Below is the engine's starter mount location. if still have trouble finding it, just follow the positive battery cable down through engine compartment, it will lead to the starter and alt.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. On models with engine oil cooler, proceed as follows:
a. Position a suitable drain pan under vehicle, then remove oil filter.
b. Position hose next to starter motor aside.
5. On all models, remove nut attaching starter brace to A/C compressor.
6. Remove nut attaching starter brace to engine, then the brace.
7. Remove bolts attaching flywheel inspection cover, then the cover.
8. Remove starter motor attaching bolts, lower starter and disconnect starter wiring.
9. Remove starter motor and shims (if used).
10. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. When removing starter, note if any shims are used between starter and mounting surface. If shims are found, reinstall in original location.
b. Torque starter motor attaching bolts to 32 ft. lbs.
c. Torque starter brace nuts to 23 ft. lbs.
d. On models with oil cooler, check engine oil level, adding oil as necessary.
