Impala 2005, 90,000 miles
There is something wrong with my iginition. whenever i insert my key into the iginition and try to start my car, they key would not turn over at all, my steering wheel is not on the lock so i don't understand what the problem may be. i tried pressing the brakes but that was also no effect

sounds like an internal ignition switch failure , the dealer needs to do this so when the replace the switch they can code the switch to use your original key
