I am trying to sell my truck, which has sat in the garage for over a year, maybe even 2 or more, and I cannnot get it to start. When I spray starting fluid into the intake, it tries to start right up, but as soon as that burns off it stops. A friend recommended checking the fuel filter, but I cannot even find it to check it out. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks.

Nevermind, I found the fuel filter. It is inside the driverside frame rail if anyone else cannot find one. Also, it is amost the size of a can of soup, which I've never seen one like that before.
