214,000 miles, 5.7L. My speedometer gauge cluster intermittently blanks out, more blank than on. I have diagnosed that it is not a connection at the cluster, it is not the dimmer and it is not the LED cluster dimming module. It appears to me that the basic signal for lighting it up (includes the readout for mph, turn signal, trip and odometer etc.) comes from the ECU. Is this correct and can you point me in the right direction?
