It recentley snowed and froze my wipers to the windshield. I beleive they where in the on position when the car was turned off. After I removed the ice and stuff and went to turn the wipers off, they now return to the up position when they should be in the normal down position when they are turned off, it seems they are 180 out of sync. So they operate fine, it just when I turn them off, they go to the furthest up position when at rest instead of being down where they should be. Any advice you could give would be greatly appriceiated, thank you.

There is a metal tab on top of the motor that needs to be bent back. If you do the work your self, take a picture if the wiper motor and I can show you what needs to be bent back. Other wise take it to your local dealer and they can either bend it back or replace the part for you
