My car has been stalling quite consistantly after driving for about ten minutes of use, the car usually wont restart right away, but if I let it sit for five minutes or so it will start again and will get a few more minutes of driving. The engine idles rough from about 500-1100 rpm and often feels like its just about to die. I get a scan code for a misfire on cyl 5 and only that cyl and seems to be intermittent. I have replaced the spark plugs, wires, swapped coils for testing, new fuel filter, had injectors and engine combustion chamber cleaned of carbon, and a new catalayic converter put in. Any help or direction would be appreciated

Have you performed a compression test on the cylinder. You may have a bad head gasket, a burned valve, ect. Do that and let me know what you find

Last time the car was in the shop for this issue, they noted that compression on cylinder 5 was above 3,

I though thats why they were trying to get rid of the carbon?

Also they tested the resistance on the injectors 3, and 5 which came out to be the same.

Do you mean the compression was higher than cylinder #3

Yeah, the compression on cylinder 5 was comparatively higher than that of cylinder three.

I assume that was the only two they compared for testing.

I would highly suggest using this to clean your injectors. The stuff works wonders if there is a plugged injector

You might try looking at the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I had a similsr problem with the engine stalling for no apparent reason and no check engine light. After the Crankshaft Position Sensor was replaced, the car didn't stall anymore.
