Power steering quit working this morning. Weather condition outside very cold -6 degrees without wind chill Not a sign or indication what could have went wrong I guess. It has fluid in it. The pump turns fine no noise. Just don't have any power steering at all now. Do u have a answer for this?

if it has fluid then your problem is the power steering pump or the steering rack. to determine which one it is you can turn all the way to one side and keep turning, if you hear groan of the power steering pump then your rack is probably no good. if you dont hear the pump strain then i would suspect the pump. hope this helps
