ok i have a 64 impala but it has a corvette engine in it and it need a tranmission so do i need a corvette trasmission or a impala trasmission

vette and impala engines are the same. different valve covers. trannys are dumb creatures. they don't care and can't tell if they're in a vette or an impala. the only difference might be the tailshaft length. trannys are same
