2007 Chevrolet HHR Repair Question

2007 Chevy HHR Front end clunking
Noises problem
2007 Chevy HHR 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 28000 miles
My front end clunks when I hit the slightest bump or uneven pavement. I have been told that this is a sway bar bushing by an auto repair shop and that it is the lower control arm bushing by the dealership. The dealership said that this is just a guess because that is what those noises most commonly are. I want to just buy the part and have it repaired somewhere else so is there any way of knowing for sure which bushing it is? I don't want to have to replace ten different ones at 50 dollars a piece before we get to the culprit.

as far as what the problem is you'll have to have a qualified person actually look at the offending pieces. If yo buy your own part good luck on finding a shop to replace it. most won't do it.
