Purchased a new speed sensor. Need intructions for replacement proceedure.

Is this a VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)? If so it is simply plug-play.It is located in the tailshaft of the trans.remove the connector and remove the 10mm bolt holding the clamp.Pop the sensor out and the new one in, making sure to point everything the same direction as the one you removed as far as the hold down clamp goes, reinstall bolt.Then plug it in and you are done.you may lose a little fluid out of the trans when you remove the sensor so have a pan ready
